Ruben & Vaneza's Story

We grew up serving the Lord at our church, La Viña, in Mexicali, Mexico. Before we got married, we participated in different short-term missions trips, so when we got married, both of us were truly committed to get involved in missions. During different moments, the Lord put inside our hearts to visit Spain. We did it on November 2006, taking our first son Ruben with us. We visited different cities, churches and pastors and we came back convinced that God wants us to work there. After that we planned to start a church in Spain, but the Lord had different plans for us.

On May 2009, we were sent to plant a church in the US, with the Hispanics at the Imperial Valley, in Southern California, where we're serving the Lord as pastors. Now, it is not only us trying to do something with the Vineyard in Spain, but the church where we work is committed to partner and support the people in that European nation.
